Bonhomme Olympics:
We had a BLAST on Friday at our Bonhomme Olympics! Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who came out and made this event so spectacular! Our kids were on their very best behaviour and were great sports throughout the whole day!
Language Arts:
Last week was a bit of a crazy week so our spelling words from last week will be tested on Wednesday! Woo Hoo extra time to practice!
We've also been hard at work on Verbs and have even managed to squeeze in a little Candyland, verb style of course!
Math:
We are hard at work learning all about 2 by 2 digit subtraction using regrouping! Let me tell you this one is tough, we were a little stumped at first but it's starting to make a little more sense! We are using our base ten blocks to help us out but please practice with your child at home as well, the more practice the better!
Valentines Day & 100th Day:
The kids are counting down the days until Wednesday! We will be doing our 100th Day celebration AND Valentines Day all in one! I've been hearing some really great things about the 100th day projects and can't wait to see what you've all come up with. The monthly newsletter has gone home with all of our students names on it to help you out with names for Valentines.
