Hello December!

Aviation Expo:

Our kids did an AMAZING job at the Aviation Expo. I'd like to give a big round of applause to all of the kids at Art Smith for all of the amazing projects and performances!

Math: 
A little late, I apologize, but here are the photos from our "Ten Man" project that we did! I think they turned out great, adding ten is now something we can add to our math toolbox!

This week we will be looking at some base ten blocks and also looking at commutative property of addition (the order in which numbers are added does not affect the sum.)

Language Arts:

This month we will be doing a book study on The Polar Express! We will be reading the story, pulling out new vocabulary words, doing some comprehension work, creating crafts and much more! I'm really looking forward to this unit and I hope our students love it too!

PE:
Since the aviation expo was still in full swing during our scheduled PE block on Friday we decided to get creative! We pulled up some Just Dance Kids and busted a move to the hamster song and the gummy bear song! The kids had a blast and were getting a little exercise too!
