We have been certainly feeling some Canada pride here in grade 2 over the past few weeks! After our Bonhomme Olympics and the start of the Sochi Olympic games we have been looking at the variety of winter sports and athletes as well as what it takes to become one. We will continue to talk about perseverance, goal setting and positive attitudes in our health classes over the next week!
Ski Day:
Our ski day is this Friday! It should be a fantastic day, who knows maybe we have a future Olympic athlete amongst us! :) Please make sure that you dress in layers and have ski pants, gloves, mittens, a hat and all of that good stuff. I can't wait to hit the slopes with all of our kiddo's!
