I hope everyone has had a fabulous weekend and is well rested for another busy and exciting week of school!
Oops!
We did do our spelling test on Friday; however, we have PE at the end of the day and we completely forgot to grab them from our pockets before running to catch the bus. So expect to see Fridays spelling test in your child's agenda tomorrow!
Swimming:
Swim forms have gone home so if you could please return those as soon as possible that would be great. The swim instructors also asked that you please send your child's previous swimming report card into school as well so that they can place your child into the appropriate swimming group.
Halloween:
Halloween is just around the corner and I've already been hearing about some of the fabulous costumes some of the kiddos will be wearing! On October 31st we will be having Halloween themed activities in the morning. For lunch we will be doing a party so I will be sending home sign up sheets for parents to sign up for a snack. While they are eating we will watch a Halloween themed movie (if you have one that your child loves and it is rated G and you don't mind loaning it for the day please let me know!) After lunch students will get changed into their costumes (please don't send your child wearing their costume, we ask that all students get changed at lunch time.) We will then be having a costume parade and a dance in the gym!! It should be a fantastic day!
